Terms

Who you are dealing with

bidmill is operated by SHK Tech Consulting LLC, doing business as Zenaptic Labs (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), 6580 Monona Drive #1029, Monona, WI 53716, United States. These Terms are the agreement between you and that company.

1. Your data is yours, and you can always take it

You can export everything you have put into bidmill — every quote with its line items, every client, and every PDF we generated for you — at any time, in one action, at no charge, in open formats (CSV and PDF inside a standard zip).

This right does not depend on your subscription. It applies while you are paying, after you stop paying, and after you cancel. We will not gate it behind a plan, a support ticket, a phone call, or a notice period. If your payment lapses, you can still sign in and export.

We will not delete your records because you stopped paying, and we will not put a time limit on getting them back. The homepage says access after you cancel lasts “forever”; this clause is what makes that binding rather than a slogan. “Forever” means for as long as bidmill operates, plus the notice period below if it ever stops — we cannot promise to outlive the company, and we will not pretend otherwise. If we are ever forced to retire the service entirely, we will give at least 90 days’ notice by email and the export will keep working for the whole of that period, whatever the reason for the shutdown.

2. What you pay

$29 per month, one price, every feature. No per-quote fees, no percentage of the work you win, and no charge to your customer.

We will not raise the price on you. The price you sign up at is the price you keep for as long as your subscription runs without a break. If we change what new customers pay, that change does not reach existing subscribers. The homepage says “no price rises for existing customers” and this is the clause that means it.

Unlimited means unlimited. There is no cap on the number of quotes you create, clients you store, or quotes you send, and we will not introduce one for you later. If we ever meter something for new customers, it does not reach existing subscribers — the same rule as the price. The only limits we will ever apply are those needed to stop abuse or to keep the service up, and they will never be billing limits wearing a technical costume.

If your usage is so far outside normal one-person trade use that it threatens the service for everyone else, we will contact you first and work it out with you. We will not silently throttle you, and we will not convert that conversation into a bill you did not agree to.

2a. Changing these Terms

Sections 1 and 2 — your data rights and your price — are fixed for you at the version you signed up under. A later edit to those sections applies to new customers, not to you. That is what stops the promises above from being quietly rewritten later.

For anything else in these Terms, we will email you at least 30 days before a change takes effect. If you do not want the change, cancel — and your export keeps working, as section 1 says.

3. The free trial

14 days, free, with no card up front. We do not ask for payment details to start, so nothing can begin charging you by default at the end of it. When the trial ends we ask you to decide; we do not decide for you.

If you do nothing, your account simply stops being a paying one. Your quotes, clients and documents stay where they are and the export keeps working — the trial ending is not a deletion event any more than cancelling is.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel from inside your account, in one click. No email, no phone call, no retention conversation. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not delete your data and does not disable export.

5. Your customers

Quotes you send carry your business name and details. We do not advertise on your documents, we do not contact your customers except to deliver the quote you asked us to send, and we do not sell or share their details with anyone.

6. What we ask of you

Use bidmill for lawful quoting and estimating for your own business. Do not use it to send unsolicited bulk email. You are responsible for what your quotes say.

bidmill is a tool for businesses. To use it you must be at least 18 and using it for your trade or business rather than as a consumer.

7. Refunds

We do not refund the current month, and we do not cut your access short either: when you cancel, you keep full use until the period you already paid for ends. After that the account goes read-only — and, as section 1 says, your export keeps working.

8. What we do not promise

bidmill is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for business losses arising from an outage.

Check your own numbers before you send a quote. bidmill adds up what you type and renders it; it does not know your trade, your margins, or whether a price is right. The quote you send is your document and your responsibility. We give no warranty that the service is fit for a particular job, and no warranty of merchantability, beyond what the law requires us to give.

9. Limit of our liability

If something goes wrong and we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data beyond our duty to keep your export working, or other indirect losses.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited— including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. If your use of bidmill causes us a claim

If someone brings a claim against us because of what you put in a quote, or because you used bidmill in a way section 6 does not allow, you agree to cover the costs we reasonably incur defending it. This does not apply to claims caused by our own failure.

11. Which law applies

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Dane County, Wisconsin.
